Western Construction Calculator is a calculator app. It's built to do one job: turn feet-inch-fraction measurements and job-site math into answers, entirely on your device. This page explains what that means for your data.

What the app does not do

• No account or sign-in is required or offered.
• No usage analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs are included.
• No calculator input, history, or result is sent to us or to any third party. Everything you type or calculate stays on your device.

Microphone permission (voice input)

The app requests microphone access to support one optional feature: speaking a measurement instead of typing it (for example, "forty-eight feet five and three quarters inches"). When you use voice input, your device's speech recognition service converts your speech to text -- this uses your Android device's built-in/system speech recognizer, the same one used by other apps on your phone, and is subject to that service's own privacy terms (typically your device manufacturer's or Google's). We do not receive, store, or have access to your voice audio ourselves.

Voice input is entirely optional -- the app is fully usable with the on-screen keypad without ever granting microphone access.

Data storage

Any preferences or settings you configure (such as default units) are stored locally on your device only, and are removed if you uninstall the app.

Children's privacy

The app does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes -- for example, if a future version adds a feature that does transmit data -- this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
